Keolis group, the French-based public transportation firm, will tap the local colleges to hire engineers for the upcoming Hyderabad Metro Rail. Keolis is the operator of the metro, which is likely to start operations in the next few months.
Keolis Global Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Bernard Tabary met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao on Thursday and briefed him about the features of the metro and the technologies that were being deployed.
Responding to a request from the Chief Minister on hiring the local youth for the project, the Keolis CEO said he would ask his executives to go to local engineering colleges for campus recruitments. “We will encourage the local talent and will give preference to women wherever possible,” he said.
