The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard) has pegged priority sector lending requirement in Telangana at Rs 59, 831 crore during 2016-17.
Disclosing this at the state credit seminar here on Tuesday, VVV Satyanarayana, Chief General Manager, Nabard - Telangana, said the estimate was 20 per cent higher than the credit plan for 2015-16.
The estimate includes Rs 30,435 crore for crop loans (short term working capital), Rs 13,009 crore for agricultural term loans and Rs 8,464 crore for MSMEs, among others.
