Anil Kumar Jha has taken charge as the Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL). MCL is a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd.
Before assuming charge as CMD, Jha was the Director (Production & Planning), MOIL Ltd, a release issued by MCL said.
Jha, a M-Tech in Mine Planning and Design from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, began his career from Ranchi-headquartered Central Coalfields Ltd (CCL) in 1983.
This apart, he has also been associated with the Central Mine Planning and Design Institute (CMPDI), Ranchi.
