The second 500-MW unit of NLC Tamil Nadu Power’s electricity generation plant has been synchronised with the grid. Neyveli Lignite Corporation which holds the majority stake in the joint venture with Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has informed the BSE that Unit II (500MW) of power project at Tuticorin was test synchronised with the Grid on Thursday.
