Ola, the tech-based cab services firm, has launched social ride-sharing platform in Hyderabad.
“Beginning today, users who travel on the same routes can now use Ola Share to share their cab rides with other users from social groups they are part of,” Ishan Gupta, Category Head (Shared Mobility) of Ola, has said.
The firm has already launched the service in Bangalore, New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune and Chennai. “The new service would come with all of Ola’s security features such as Track your Ride, Share Ride Details and Emergency Contacts,” he said in a statement on Wednesday.
