Karnataka has roped in seven countries to be global partners its global investors meet – ‘Invest Karnataka 2016’.
R V Deshpande, Karnataka Minister for Large and Medium Scale Industries and Tourism said France, Japan, Sweden, South Korea, UK, Italy and Germany have confirmed to be global partners for ‘Invest Karnataka 2016’ which will be held from February 3-5.
Partner countries at Invest Karnataka 2016 are committed to making investments and providing technical support to the State.
The ministers and trade delegations from the partner country are to be the official guest of the Karnataka government at Invest Karnataka 2016. Each partner country will be given a ‘Country Session’ at the summit to highlight trade investments and business opportunities in their respective countries.
All delegation members of the partner countries will be given an opportunity to participate in the sector seminars to showcase their projects and investments as well.
Exhibition space will be provided for partner countries depending upon on the size of the country delegation and interest from their investors.
Deshpande said “To improve investment attractiveness and handhold companies from different countries, the department has appointed country-specific nodal officers, who will be single point of contacts for all investments from the global market.”
