Telangana IT Minister holds talks with Satya Nadella

Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao has met Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella in Seattle (the US) on Monday. The Minister briefed him about the new Industrial Policy and single-window clearance mechanism introduced in the policy.

Satya Nadella hails from Hyderabad and paid a visit to the city last year after Telangana was carved out of Andhra Pradesh. Microsoft has a huge Development Centre in the city.

The Minister also explained to him about the upcoming T-Hub project for start-ups.

Mark Day, General Manager (Government and Industry) of Microsoft was also present in the meeting.

The Minister along with IT Secretary Jayesh Ranjan and other officials has wound up the two-week US trip with a meeting with Amazon officials in Seattle. They met Monique Meche, Vice-President (Public Policy) and John Schoettler, Director (Workplaces Global) at Amazon.
