The National Confederation of Officers’ Associations (NCOA) has demanded the Centre to implement the 3rd pay revision in all CPSUs by removing the affordability clause.
Anil Kumar G, general secretary, NCOA (Kerala Zone), pointed out that Cochin Shipyard is the only CPSU that has implemented the 3rd pay revision among the CPSUs in the State. Employees of ITI Ltd, HMT and Instrumentation Ltd are still in 1997 scale of pay, in spite of continuous profit they made all these years.
He also requested the MPs from the State to take up the issue of denial of pay revision pending for more than two decades. The zonal general council meeting which held here also elected PM Sharafudheen (FACT) as president and Anilkumar. G (ITI Ltd) as the general secretary.
