Funskool (India) Ltd, a leading toy manufacturer owned by the MRF group, has appointed R Jeswant as CEO following the retirement of John Baby, who has been in the post since 2006.
Baby was responsible for boosting exports by setting up the company’s third manufacturing facility in Ranipet.
Jeswant, who succeeded Baby as the new CEO from April 1, 2020, was the company’s Senior Vice-President (Sales & Marketing). He has been associated with Funskool for over 20 years.
Prior to joining Funskool in 2000, Jeswant had worked with TI Cycles of India and with Blue Star Limited, says a company press release.
