West Bengal Finance Minister Amit Mitra on Friday said the banks in West Bengal have sanctioned home loans worth nearly Rs 16,000 crore till the end of June.
Speaking at Bengal Builds — a three-day conference on urban infrastructure, he said there were no constraints in terms of funds for home loans in the State. He added that the State has been “generating huge savings”.
