As the world gears up for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, scheduled to take place across France, Google’s unique art work has captured the eyes of internet users everywhere.
The new Google Doodle, that was created to mark the first day of the soccer tournament, depicts a collage of various characters. This is said to be part of an upcoming series that would be created by artists from all the nations participating in the world cup.
24 countries will compete with each other in the tournament. The first match will be held between South Korea and France on Friday in Paris.
The final match will take place on July 7 in Lyon, France.

Group B: Germany, Spain, China, South Africa
Group C: Italy, Brazil, Australia, Jamaica
Group D: England, Scotland, Argentina, Japan
