Fashion designer Stella McCartney has denied that she designed team GB’s white and gold jackets, which have been slammed by the public.
The 40-year-old said she was not responsible for the tracksuits that have been compared to Elvis Presley’s garish costumes, reported Femalefirst .
“Thanks for the support! To clarify, Stella designed the Team GB performance kit, podium suit and village wear, not the Olympic ceremony suits,” her brand stated.
Stella attended the gala opening ceremony but she left before her father Paul McCartney’s rendition of Hey Jude in order to beat the traffic.
