NTR Memorial Trust, a Hyderabad-based non-profit organisation, said today that the trust will organise a concert, Swara Veda, on November 11 to help create awareness about philanthropy.

Renowned musicians will be leading a range of exciting, diverse performances on November 11 at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium.

The TDP chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, who is also the managing trustee of NTR Memorial Trust, said in a statement that the event is meant to create awareness about the importance of giving back to society and get corporates and individuals to help the needy.

He plans to felicitate 11 of the country's top musicians, 11 of country's top NGOs and 11 of biggest donors of NTR Memorial Trust.

NTR Memorial Trust is involves in health, education, blood bank, providing safe drinking water and entrepreneur development.

Mr Naidusaid in the statement: “Swara Veda is an event to convey the message of charity using music to transform the lives of disadvantaged and needy. Music has the power to build confidence, broaden horizons and raise aspirations. We hope to do our part and give back to the society and honour those who have been striving to uplift the less privileged.”

NTR Memorial Trust is known for its pioneering social work in areas of health, entrepreneurship, blood bank, primary healthcare, women and child welfare, education, relief works providing service to poor and needy people.
