Apple to introduce latest iPhones on Sept 9: Reports

Apple is expected to introduce its latest iPhone during an event on September 9, according to media reports on Tuesday.

Apple has scheduled a media event on that day, leading to speculation that it will the introduction of the new phone.

The next generation iPhones are supposed to have larger displays of 12 centimetres and 14 centimetres and run speedy new A8 processors, the technology website re/code and the Wall Street Journal said.

One of the most prevalent new iPhone rumours has been that it may have a display much larger than on previous models. The display of current iPhone models measure 10 centimetres diagonally.

Apple declined to comment.
