My favourite airport: Changi, Singapore

What I like about it: The most serene airport I have been to, both on arrival and departure. Though it is one of the busiest airports in the world, Changi provides a very calm environment and surprisingly seems uncrowded. Immigration is smooth and fast and the baggage delivery area, with the arrival duty-free shops, is very well laid out, with no one pushing you to buy. The airport is extremely functional so that even changing terminals by the connecting trains is an easy and comfortable ride.

The range of restaurants and entertainment offerings, including movie halls, adds to the Changi experience. I vividly remember using the gym and shower in one of the lounges when I reached a few hours early for a flight. And that too at an affordable $20.The cleanest toilets are at Changi.

Changi, for sure, is No 1 for me.

What could be improved: Frankly I cannot think of any area for improvement. If Changi becomes any better, people will not leave the airport!!!

Other airports I like : Chep Lap Kok, Hong Kong, and Schipol, Amsterdam.
