My favourite airport : Samui International Airport, Koh Samui, Thailand
What I like about it: Koh Samui is a stunning tropical island getaway in Thailand, and the airport embraces its surroundings by incorporating its exotic location into its design. Grassed roofs, open air immigration, tropical gardens and rattan seating leave you in no doubt that you're on holiday, the moment you step off the plane.
What could be improved: More direct services! There are flights from India to Samui via Bangkok, however discussions are currently taking place to offer more. There's not much that can be improved upon, unless they'd like to move the hotel swimming pool next to the runway.
Other airports I like : The airports in the UAE are really state-of-the-art. Each time I visit I'm taken back by their size and impressive infrastructure. Dubai International is especially well done and the number of destinations they now connect to is incredible.
