Sony today launched a range of wireless speakers and new headphones and earphones across price bands that can cater to those looking for a budget offering as well as a slightly more expensive mid-range product.
The highlight of the products that the company introduced today was the WF-SP700N, which according to Sony is the world's first truly wireless noise cancellation-enabled earphone set.
They come in a case and sync with each other and the device via Bluetooth and their case can charge them up fully twice, the company claimed. They also come in a splash-proof design and are priced at ₹ 12, 990 and will be available starting May 15.
But if that is out of budget, fret not, for Sony has unveiled offerings that start at ₹ 2,990 (the WI-C300 pair that comes enabled with NFC, Bluetooth, and one-touch pairing). The other earphones include WI-SP600N (₹ 9,990), WI-SP500 (₹4,990), WH-CH400 (₹ 3,790) and WH-CH500 (₹ 4,990).
Sony also revamped its 'EXTRA BASS' series with the inclusion of three new portable wireless speakers – SRS-XB41 (₹ 13,990), SRS-XB31 (₹ 9,990) and SRS-XB21 (₹ 7,990). They are waterproof and dust proof with an IP67 rating, so go ahead and use them when camping or at a beach or pool party without any worries. Sony speakers can now connect to 100 different speakers together via Bluetooth to create a 'wireless party chain'. The speakers are enabled with ‘Party Booster’ feature which enhances every beat, the company claimed. All these speakers will be available starting today at Sony Centres and other stores.
