Power and road development

As Indo-Japanese economic efforts are on, in anticipation of the Japanese Consulate General, Mr Masayuki Makiya's visit to the Chief Minister's office on May 8, the Finance Minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr C. Ponnaiyan, could have opted to drive home the point of developing infrastructure facilities, particularly the road network.

Mere manufacture of transport vehicles will be insane without the required road network. If the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Ms J. Jayalalithaa, includes in her agenda both power and road development, when Mr Makiya visits her, the benefits would be manifold.
