HYDERABAD: Fortune Katriya Hotel has launched a 10-day festival marking Ugadi, the Telugu New Year falling on March 21, at its ethnic restaurant `Kuchipudi'.

According to Mr Dandu Sivaramaraju, Managing Director, the festival would culminate in a performance by Ms Swathy Somanath. She would lead a 11-member team to perform `Vaatsayana's Kamasutra' on the New Year day.

He told Business Line that the hotel would have 90 rooms more by September to take the total number to 222. The eight-month-old hotel registered an average occupancy rate of 70 per cent.
