Kochi, June 17

THE Swedish multinational Pergo, dealing in laminate flooring worldwide, has opened its design centre at Kochi on Friday.

Speaking to presspersons, Mr K.R. Shivshankar, CEO, Pergo India Pvt Ltd, said the company, which launched its Indian operations in 1998, has completed six million sq ft of installation in Indian homes and has over 50 per cent of the market share in the laminate flooring category.

The Kochi design centre, he said, would offer customers international style wooden laminate floorings for residences and commercial property.

Pergo has developed its accessories range by introducing a unique 4-in-1 moulding concept, which uses the same moulding for four different applications such as T-moulding, carpet transition, hard surface reducer and end moulding. The 4-in-1 moulding is a cost and time effective installation solution, he added.
