SQL Star acquires SolutionNet unit

Hyderabad, May 18

Sql Star International Ltd has informed BSE that it has, through its subsidiaries, acquired the consulting business of SolutionNet Group. The SolutionNet Group is a US-based consulting and product group with an annual turnover of approximately $5 million in consulting. It has on site consulting businesses spread over the US, Australia and Singapore. As per the deal, SQL's wholly owned US subsidiary, SQL Star International Inc, will take over the consulting business of SolutionNet, US, whereas the Singapore business will be handled by Singapore subsidiary, International SQL Star Pte. Ltd. The Australian business of SolutionNet group will become the Australian subsidiary of the company. Details of the deal have not been made public.
