Infotech-UTC combine rakes in $100 m business

Hyderabad , Aug. 23

Infotech Enterprises Ltd and United Technologies Corporation (UTC) plan to consolidate their operations centered around aerospace design and engineering services.

They have completed five-years of partnership which has resulted in business of about $100 million (about Rs 450 crore), offered through dedicated centres that employ about 750 people.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, the Chairman and Managing Director of Infotech Enterprises, Mr B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, said: "Our goal is to continue to be an integral part of UTC's supply chain. We have progressed from being a small supplier to a strategic partner building on business flexibility and low cost services."

The President and COO of UTC, Mr Louis Chenevert, said it took five years to hit the $100-million mark. . Over 750 people work on dedicated centres for UTC.
