Chennai-based BPO centre to tele-market product

Chennai , Aug. 30

Dhanus Technologies, a Chennai-based communication services company, has launched an international broadband telephony service called "MPINGI" for the US market.

MPINGI uses a technology called Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) that allows users to make calls via broadband connection without using a computer or a landline connection.

It uses the Internet to route phone calls thereby eliminating the difference between a local call and a long distance call, a press release said.

Using an adapter existing phone lines can be connected to the broadband connection.

The Chennai-based BPO centre of Dhanus Technologies will tele-market the product.
