Chennai , Dec. 13

SlashSupport, an offshore technology support company of the San Jose-based CSS Group, has created ManageInfra, a separate brand for its Remote Infrastructure Management business.

ManageInfra has ramped up its relationship with the US-based Blackboard Inc, provider of enterprise software and related services to the education industry. SlashSupport has been offering remote infrastructure management service and tier-2 level support of servers, application, database and network monitoring and management to Blackboard for over a year. It handles more than 95 per cent of Blackboard's current system alerts and client notifications.

Through the multi-year deal, SlashSupport gets to manage over 1,700 servers and over 2 million students of Blackboard Inc worldwide. The company did not provide the deal size.
