Accenture CEO coming next week

Accenture's Chairman and CEO, Mr William (Bill) D. Green will visit Bangalore as part of his maiden India tour starting January 29. The main objective of Mr Green's visit is to connect with employees in Bangalore and to get a feel of the kind of services delivery happening from Accenture's India operations, company sources said. Though details of Mr Green's agenda were not available, he is likely to visit another Indian city, where Accenture operates its delivery centre. About one fourth of Accenture's 43 global delivery centres located across 30 countries are based in India through which it serves over 275 clients.

Accenture employs about 25,500 people in India, its largest employee base outside the US,accounting for one-eighth of the company's global workforce of 1.49 lakh.
