Business as usual at HCL BPO

Our Bureau

New Delhi, May 25

Work at HCL Technologies BPO Division in Noida has not been affected by the shoot out that happened there on Thursday. "Earlier, employees were checked on a random basis. However, from now, each employee would be physically searched." said Mr R. Rangarajan, Vice-President, HCL Technologies BPO division.

In an effort to further increase security, the company has tied up agencies such as Fireball to suggest additional security measures. This comes in the wake of one of its employees shooting on another colleague in the cafeteria here on Thursday. HCL Technologies BPO division has informed its clients in the US and Europe about the security system that were being put in place. Mr Rangrajan said that the victim had been discharged and accused was in the police custody.
