Raja meets BSNL union again

New Delhi, July 10

The Communication and IT Minister, Mr A. Raja, held meetings with the BSNL union till late night in a bid to defuse the impending strike on Wednesday over the cellular contract. Union officials said that the meeting held in the morning had not produced any result but they hoped that the Minister would give some assurances in the meeting that was scheduled late on Tuesday night. "If the Minister gives us an assurance that BSNL's interest would be taken care of we will call off the strike tomorrow," said a union office bearer. - Our Bureau
