Rediff launches iShare

New Delhi, July 10

Enthused by the growing popularity of social networking and content sharing sites, Rediff.com today announced the launch of a social content sharing platform - iShare, which allows users to share videos, music and photos. To a question on whether the company would eye a listing on the Indian bourse, the Rediff.com Chairman and CEO, Mr Ajit Balakrishnan, said, "We would like to get listed in India sometime but there is no immediate compulsion either from the point of view of cash mobilisation or Government regulation. At this point of time we are concentrating on business and operation, as the industry is highly competitive." - Our Bureau
