Arvind Virmani is new CEA in Finance Ministry

New Delhi, July 13 The Finance Ministry has a new Chief Economic Advisor in Dr Arvind Virmani, with the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approving his name for the post.

Dr Virmani, who is currently Principal Adviser in Planning Commission, would be replacing Dr Ashok Lahiri, who is moving to the Asian Development Bank in Manila as an Executive Director.
