Goldstone IPTV services in Thailand, Malaysia

Hyderabad, Nov. 15 Expanding Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) services, Goldstone Technologies Ltd has announced move to launch these services in Malaysia and Thailand.

Goldstone has tied-up with MOL AccessPortal Berhad (MOL) of Malaysia to launch the IPTV service there. MOL specialises in Internet media and e-commerce and is the largest online gaming aggregator in Malaysia with three wholly-owned subsidiaries engaged in media content and online payment service providers. In Thailand, Goldstone has signed an agreement with Synap Media & Infotech Co Ltd.

Goldstone has set up its Network Operating Centre in Taiwan and currently 20 TV channels are being streamed live along with movies in Hindi, English and several Indian regional languages. The Goldstone IPTV Network services are being offered under the brand name TV Origin.

The Managing Director of Goldstone, Mr Travis Cadell, in a statement said, “IPTV is the way people will increasingly watch television programming and we are ahead of this curve to leverage on this growing segment”.

Apart from its global IPTV service, Goldstone Technologies Ltd also has its IPTV services project under way in India, in association with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd over its broadband network.
