Reliance sets up overseas units

Mumbai, Sept. 10

Reliance Industries Ltd on Tuesday announced the incorporation of two wholly owned subsidiaries for London and Singapore markets to tap the emerging opportunities in global markets of petroleum products, a company release said. Reliance Global Energy Services Ltd, London, is headed by Mr Peter Ward, who was formerly the President of Shell Trading’s Gas and Power division. Reliance Global Energy Services Singapore Pte Ltd, Singapore, is headed by Mr Michael Ng. He was till recently the President of Fair Energy. He has also been the Head of Shell’s International Aviation business in Asia, the release said.
