Ruling on Price Waterhouse partners’ police custody today

Hyderabad, Feb. 2

A local court here on Monday reserved the orders for tomorrow on the police custody of Price Waterhouse partners Mr S. Gopalakrishnan and Mr Talluri Srinivas in connection with the Rs 7,136-crore Satyam financial fraud.

The VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate after hearing the arguments of public prosecutor Mr K. Ajay Kumar and defence lawyer Mr Mastan Naidu posted the verdict for Tuesday.

The CID, probing the Satyam fraud, had filed a petition seeking police custody of the duo, who are in judicial remand till February 7.

Meanwhile, a bail petition of Mr D. Gopalakrishna Raju, former General Manager of SRSR Advisory Services, which was filed today, would also come up for hearing on Tuesday.
