19 geo-scientists awarded

NEW DELHI: The Government has awarded the National Mineral Award-2002 to 19 geo-scientists as recognition of their contributions in their respective fields.

The awards were handed over to the scientists by the Union Minister for Mines, Mr Sis Ram Ola, and the Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Dr Dasari Narayana Rao.
