Non-executive employees of Bharat Electronics Ltd have threatened to go on a day’s strike demanding quick settlement of plant performance incentive (PPI).
In a communication to the stock exchanges, the company said that the negotiating trade unions of BEL’s constituent units along with corporate office have served notices to resort to one-day token strike by all the non-executive employees on or after December 11 demanding early settlement of PPI/upward revision of PPI amount from 2012-13 financial year.
BEL shares were trading at Rs 1,048, up by 85 paise, on the NSE.
