Bartronics India Ltd has said that its fully owned subsidiary Bartronics Asia Pte Ltd has acquired 51 per cent stake in Systems America Inc. (SYAI). SYAI is listed in the OTC equities category in the US.
In consideration of swap of shareholding, SYAI now owns Bartronics America Inc. Before the merger, Bartronics America Inc. changed its name to mCloud Inc. to reflect its diversification into mobile and cloud computing businesses, Bartronics said in a statement to the stock exchanges.
The transaction is expected to lead to greater efficiencies and increased market share, the statement added.
