Optra Platinum

byline S. Muralidhar

General Motors India recently launched the Chevrolet Optra Platinum, a special edition of its popular luxury sedan.

The Optra Platinum features new exterior additions and a couple of new interior elements intended to improve the car's premium appeal.

It is available in two new exclusive shades — Icy Blue and Shimmering Black.

Among other additional features, Chevrolet Optra Platinum sports a platinum badge on the trunk lid, a specially put together chrome kit for the front lower bumper, outer rear view mirrors and tail lamps, a sporty gear knob and a 1-DIN MP3 music system and a rear spoiler.

GM has said that a total of 250 units of the Optra Platinum will be available at Rs 8.24 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

As part of the package, customers will receive a three-year/100,000-km warranty with the new special edition Optra.
