Lanco Industries Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 14.12 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013, against a profit of Rs 13.99 crore for the corresponding period last year and a loss of Rs 9.10 crore for the December quarter.
The company revenue for the March quarter was Rs 232. 91 crore against Rs 213.57 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
Operating with a manufacturing facility in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, the company closed last financial year ended March 31, 2013, with a net loss of Rs 13.09 crore on a turnover of Rs 863.88 crore against a loss of Rs 3.95 crore and a total income of Rs 787 crore.
The company’s shares shot up by 20 per cent to close at Rs 23.95 on the BSE.
