ORRA, a leading jewellery retail chain in the country, launched its retail boutique at West Masi street in the city on Thursday.
Mr Cecil de Santa Maria, Vice-President, Marketing and Sales, said that significant number of population in the country are ready for a new segment of premium shopping and in tune with this trend, ORRA has set its foot in Madurai bringing in 22 carat BIS hallmarked gold jewellery, offering a variety of light weight and heavy latest designs. The designs cater to the needs of south Indian customers, he said.
He said the chain has 33 stores across 26 cities in the country and has planned at least 10 new stores year-on-year up to 2016. There are seven stores in the South and two each at Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai are on cards , he said.
