This works only if you have a JioMoney account. The account must be linked to the Jio Chat account. The registered mobile number in the JioChat and JioMoney accounts must be the same. The JioMoney account will be linked to your JioChat account the first time you send money through JioChat.
Open the JioChat app in your mobile. Select the contact to whom you want to transfer the money and open chat with the person.
You will find a Rupee symbol at the bottom near the chat text window. Click on it. You will now be able to see your JioMoney balance below the chat window.
Enter the amount and click the Send icon.
Your contact will instantly receive the amount in the JioMoney account. If the person does not have a JioMoney account, he will be prompted to create one to receive the amount.
