Subex Ltd, a provider of business service systems for communication service providers, has been selected by Almada, a telecom operator in Libya, to provide it with its ROC revenue assurance and fraud management solutions. With this the company, which was selected in a competitive bid, has made its first foray into the country.
ROC revenue assurance is the telecom industry’s first revenue insurance solution. ROC fraud management detects known fraud types and patterns of unusual behaviour and helps investigate them for potential fraud.
Vinod Kumar, COO, Subex, said Libya was an interesting telecom market with a lot of potential. On choosing Subex Almada said it is taking a fresh approach to its business proposition for which it was important to build the right ecosystem. The company was confident that the engagement would help it do business in a more effective manner, Chairman Jamai Hegag said.
