The Indian Institute of Management - Ahmedabad (IIM-A) has scheduled its 54th annual convocation on March 16, 2019, Saturday, in its campus.
For the Convocation address, the premier institute has invited noted economist, Prof Kaushik Basu as the chief guest . Basu is the professor of Economics and Carl Marks Professor of International Studies at Cornell University, US.
The convocation procession will start at 6 pm followed by the address by the Chairman of the Board of Governors, IIM-A and the conferral of degrees to the graduating candidates and award of scholastic medals by the Chief Guest, who will also deliver the Convocation address, the institute informed.
Last year Janmejaya Kumar Sinha, Chairman, (Asia-Pacific), Boston Consulting Group was invited as the Chief Guest for the convocation.
