New Delhi , Sept. 19 WHILE the Union Minister for Commerce, Mr Arun Jaitley, was circumspect on the outcome of the WTO meet and refrained from proclaiming victory, there was a mood of victory among the BJP members . Mr Jaitley said he would have preferred a "positive outcome" at the meeting and maintained that India would continue to engage in future processes under the WTO in a positive manner. "We will have to pick up the threads from where they have been left at Cancun and take the process ahead at WTO," the Minister said. Mr Jaitley held that the balance of control within the WTO got altered at Cancun. Felicitating the Minister, the BJP President, Mr M. Venkaiah Naidu, thanked Mr Jaitley for his forceful stand, and added that India was able to take the leadership at Cancun by raising issues of concern to the developing countries.
