400 buyers confirm participation at Lakme fashion week

New Delhi , April 23

THE Fashion Design Council of India, the proprietor of the Lakme India Fashion Week, today announced that leading global retail stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue (New York) and Browns (London) are among more than 400 buyers who have confirmed their participation at this year's fashion week.

These buyers are from over 160 domestic and 50 international organisations.

Other foreign buyers include MDP Sarl (France), Talena (Hong Kong), Sanskrit (Dubai), and RCKC (London) among others. The domestic buyers include Be, Kimaya, Shopper's Stop, Vama, Grasshopper, Pantaloon, and Ogaan.

Lakme India Fashion Week in 2003 had seen the participation from 159 domestic companies and 30 international buyers.
