It has established 30 showrooms in Kerala in the last two years.

Its 61st retail outlet in the Asian region and the first in Tamil Nadu is expected to be thrown open on May 30.

Briefing newspersons, Mr Joy Alukkas, Managing Director, Alukkas Group, said that the group proposed to open an outlet in Bangalore before the close of the current calendar year. Hyderabad and New Delhi were on the cards, but the outlet in those cities was proposed only for the next year.

A wide collection of contemporary and traditional designs, which include Jaipuri, Rajkot, Agra, Kolkata and Moghul collections, besides international collection from Italy, Turkey, Singapore and Malaysia would be showcased in the outlets to provide an international shopping experience, he said.

The company's in-house diamond brand `Tejus' would be available only in the company-owned outlet, he said and added that unique patterns to suit the taste of the young and old were marketed by the group.

Apart from the retail jewellery store, Alukkas, he said, was also into the business of setting up `wedding centres'.
