SATYAM Computer has announced its plans to ramp up its base in Bhubaneshwar, wherein the company added another block and plans to induct about 250 techies.

The decision to expand base in Bhubaneshwar is part of Satyam's overall expansion plan to geographically broad base its operations.

The Chief Minister of Orissa, Mr Naveen Patnaik, laid the foundation stone for the new IT block in Bhubaneshwar. The new block would add another 35,000 sq ft to existing 60,000 sq ft of the development centre that started operations in 1999.
