Chennai , Sept. 3

FORMER Australian pace bowler, Dennis Lillee, will be the brand ambassador for `Seafood Club', a seafood brand from Seaeyes Systems Ltd.

The company has seafood processing operations in Chennai, Kochi, Visakhapatnam and Mumbai. It exports lobsters, prawns, clams, squids and other exotic varieties of seafood. Its products are available in some select outlets in the city, though most of them are exported.

Ms Minnie Menon, brand consultant and managing consultant of the Chennai-based Tech-Eye Consulting, said that the company had zeroed in on Dennis Lillee because he is a true Indophile who has been visiting Chennai for 17 years. Besides being an accomplished chef, he is also a seafood lover.

The new packaging with the Seafood Club brand will be on the shelves from January next year, when this endorsement period will begin, Ms Menon said.
