Porsche debuts with 3 vehicles

Our Bureau

Mumbai , Nov. 8

PORSCHE made its sales debut here on Sunday, unveiling three vehicles for the local market - 911, Boxter and Cayenne. Prices range from Rs 43 lakh to Rs 80 lakh.

While three variants of Cayenne, two of 911 and one of Boxter would be offered initially, Porsche aims to broaden the model line-up, said Mr George Wills, Regional Operations Manager, Porsche Middle East & Africa. The company is particularly optimistic on the prospects for Cayenne as it is a combination of Porsche's sports car background and SUV traits that are useful on Indian roads.
