Weekly spl train to Bangalore

THE Bangalore-Thiruvananthapuram-Bangalore weekly special train (0631/0632) will be operated up to January 31, 2005.

Announcing this, a Southern Railway spokesman said here that the train would leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 7.30 p.m. on Mondays from December 8. It would reach Bangalore at 12 noon the next day. The train will leave Bangalore on Sundays from December 5 at 10.15 p.m. and reach here at 4.30 p.m. the next day.

The trains will have stops at Kollam, Kayamkulam, Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Ottapalam, Palakkad, Podanur, Erode, Salem, Tirupathur, Kuppam, Bangarpet, Krishnarajapuram and Bangalore Cantonment.

Special trains will be run between Bangalore and Ernakulam Junction as well to clear the winter rush, the spokesman added.
