Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: Richmond Chemical Corporation and representatives from the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry and Chinese Academy of Sciences are hosting a Symposium on `Opportunities for growth and development in the Indo-China Pharmaceutical Industry.'

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, representatives from Richmond and the Chinese agencies said that there is immense scope for collaboration between the two countries where both research institutions and companies have the potential to partner and explore opportunities in drug discovery and research.

The event, being hosted at the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology on December 5, is aimed at promoting the channels of communication for the exchange of innovative ideas among Chinese and Indian scientists and industry leaders. The symposium will provide a forum for representatives to discuss issues relating to chemical research and technology transfer.
