WorldSpace music at Coffee Day outlets

WORLDSPACE Satellite Radio announced that it has tied up with Café Coffee Day to play its satellite radio content across the country.

Café Coffee Day is the largest domestic coffee chain with 100 cafes. As per the year-long alliance, Coffee Day outlets will play music from WorldSpace's 40 stations ranging from Indian classical to Hindi film songs and western rock. Its outlets will also host exclusive consumer entertainment and promotional activities organised by WorldSpace, initially at Kochi, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

The WorldSpace COO, Mr Andy-Ras Work, said, "WorldSpace's relationship with Café Coffee Day is designed to reach music lovers in India and create an appreciation of the unique value that WorldSpace offers its subscribers."
